The sea front has a different use altogether. People amble along not knowing where they are heading other than in that direction.
Near the pier there is a flat spot, which could be developed into something quite nice, perhaps more display space (for me and my pictures!) It is the wall to the Aquarium, by the well known burger place I sometimes feel the need to visit ... Don’t tell my better half will you ... When the big events arrive, they are good to be at, lots to photograph. I felt sad when the fun fair was removed along the sea front. About 22/23 years ago in February I photographed a sponsored 24 hour (think) bumper car marathon being held by the Firemen of Brighton. This was one of my first trips to Brighton having just moved into the area.
The walk towards Hove is no less stimulating. Cold December days trying to keep my self from being blown off the pavement are a feast to remember.
